Jim & Peggy Price

Jim Price spent his school years working for various ranches to include Bill Snodgrass, Louie Irene, the ID Ranch owned by the Miller Estate Company, and Miles Land & Livestock Company. Jim was known to be a good hand with a horse, could work cows like no other and was willing to get any job done. He married Peggy Miles in 1969 and shortly after, left Louie Irene and became an employee, son-in-law, and all around ranch hand at Miles Land and Livestock. Jim and Peg purchased the ranch in 1997. In between working their own ranch they found time to always help the neighbors. Peggy Anne Miles Price was born and raised on the family ranch near Alcova. Peg worked at her folks’ ranch her entire growing up years and after graduating from high school and getting married in 1969. From 1970 through 1975 she was the ranch cook, as well as being an all-around hand during branding, doctoring cows and calves, and trailing to the mountain. Peg managed to fit in work as a Religion Education Coordinator at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and Jim served on many boards.
