Charles L. “Chuck” Reynolds was born in Gillette and began his cowboy career on the Old Reynolds Ranch at Rocky Point. He left the ranch in 1957 and moved to the Parks Land and Livestock where he broke horses and did other cowboy work. He moved from ranch to ranch throughout Campbell County, always seeking a better opportunity to use his cowboy skills. Among the ranches where he worked were the Pavlovich Ranch, Daly Land and Livestock, Sonny Moore Ranch, Keeline Ranch, Ted and Mary Norfolk Ranch, Joe Watt Ranch, Kona Ranch, and William P. Parks 3rd Ranch, He also worked on ranches in Montana and South Dakota. Presently he works for the John Reynolds Feedlot in Campbell County. Chuck and his wife Sandy have three sons who participated in 4-H, FFA, and the Little Levi Rodeo. During their years of ranch work the daily activities were riding on the cows, haying, building corrals, and branding in the summers.
